It’s surprising, but once Thanksgiving is over, my taste buds start craving peppermint. While pumpkin still calls my name, nothing beats the allure of peppermint.
Every December, the children and I indulge in peppermint bark. When I discovered this Oreo-infused version, I knew it would be an instant favorite.
Ingredients:
– 20 Starlight Mints or 10 small Candy Canes
– 12 Oreos
– 8 oz Chocolate Chips
– 8 oz White Chocolate Chips

Making this treat is straightforward.
- Start by lining a cookie sheet with wax paper.
- Crush the Oreos in a food processor, leaving them in larger chunks.
- Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in 45-second intervals, stirring each time until smooth.
- Spread the melted chocolate onto the lined tray and level it out.

- Sprinkle the crushed Oreos evenly on top of the melted chocolate.
- Chill in the fridge for 15 minutes to firm up.
- Use the food processor again to crush the mints.
- Melt the white chocolate chips in the microwave similarly until fully melted and smooth.
- Pour the melted white chocolate over the Oreo layer, smoothing it out to create an even top layer.

- Top the white chocolate with the crushed peppermint.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set completely.
- Once set, break into pieces for serving.
-
ENJOY!
