Cinnamon Spice Popcorn Delight
For many years, our family has been obsessed with cinnamon popcorn. My love for it began during the holidays when my dad would surprise us with Topsy’s popcorn tins as a festive treat. It’s incredibly tasty, but feeding a family of six can add up quickly.
This delightful cinnamon popcorn treat allows you to satisfy your cravings without emptying your wallet… and it’s perfect for using cute heart-shaped red hots around Valentine’s Day!

Cinnamon Spice Popcorn Delight
Author: Heather
Ingredients
- 6 cups freshly popped popcorn
- ¼ cup water
- ½ cup red hot candies
Instructions
- Start by preheating your oven to 250 degrees and lining a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small saucepan, mix the water with the red hots. Heat it on the stove until boiling, stirring frequently until the candies dissolve.
- Place the popcorn into a large clean paper bag, pour half of the warm mixture over it, and shake. Add the rest of the mixture and shake vigorously again.
- Spread the popcorn mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. (Some popcorn may stick to the bag—feel free to discard that part, but be careful as it will be very hot!)
- Bake the popcorn in the oven for 10 minutes, stir it, and then continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes until mostly dry. Once cool, pack the popcorn into festive containers.
