Beneful Dream Dog Park Initiative

Sponsored by Beneful.

For my dog, nothing compares to dog park day. It’s the time when the whole family hops into the car, bringing along extra tennis balls to share with furry companions at our neighborhood park. Dog parks serve as unique spaces for both pets and their owners to connect and socialize with each other and the community. Thanks to our weekly visits, our dog has become incredibly sociable, and we’ve made several human friends who we see outside the park as well.

However, not all dog parks are created equal. Many small towns and cities lack the funding needed to maintain them. Fortunately, Beneful has recognized this gap, dedicating the last five years to enhancing and building dog parks across the nation.

The Beneful Dream Dog Park Project started as a contest, allowing the Beneful team to renovate a winning community’s park each year. Over time, the initiative has grown, aiming to spread happiness to more neighborhoods throughout the country.

This year, Beneful aims to assist a total of 12 parks through monetary donations, volunteer service days, and more. They’re also collaborating with GoFundMe to amplify their mission. This collaboration offers dog park organizers a platform to initiate fundraising campaigns for local parks, raising both awareness and funds for much-needed updates or to establish new parks. Beneful will highlight a new GoFundMe dog park campaign each month.

I didn’t know Beneful was involved in building and enhancing dog parks. That’s fantastic!

This is wonderful! I hope that once we move, we’ll be nearer to a dog park so our pup can enjoy it more often.
