Cadbury Chocolate Easter Chicks

Today, my kids and I got creative with one of our top Easter treats, the Cadbury cream egg. After melting some chocolates for a separate project, I noticed I had a little leftover.
In no time, we found ourselves laughing and crafting with the melting chocolates, resulting in these adorable little chicks.
Here’s what we used:
* Cadbury Cream Eggs (or caramel eggs, or any similar sized chocolate egg)
* Orange Wilton melting chocolate
* White Wilton melting chocolate
* Brown Wilton melting chocolate
* Black (or alternative color) frosting for the eyes
* Wax paper
Start by melting several pieces of brown chocolate to use as your adhesive.
On wax paper, create two orange circles and put a dollop of brown chocolate on each one to hold the egg. I used a small object to support the egg while it set, which didn’t take long.
The rest is all about using your creativity while employing the brown melted chocolate as your adhesion method. Once everything has solidified, these little treats will peel off the wax paper easily.

These are incredibly charming. I’m curious if giving them a fan tail could transform them into turkeys for Thanksgiving. They’re so delightful! They remind me of the baby turkeys from the “Free Birds” movie.
