Applebees Ultimate Date Night #BestDateEver

As the school year begins, my eldest son and his girlfriend have been feeling quite overwhelmed. To help them unwind, I decided to treat them to a night out at Applebee’s for what I hoped would be their “Best Date Ever.”

Initially, I planned to summarize their meal, but my son surprised me with a thoughtful review in his own words!

The service was fantastic! The host greeted us warmly, and our server Alex was incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. Together, Aly and I browsed the appetizer selection and couldn’t resist ordering the spinach artichoke dip.

It arrived piping hot and tasted even better than we had anticipated.

Aly selected the maple bacon chicken piadini, while I opted for the Butcher’s Reserve 12 oz. sirloin steak, cooked medium rare, paired with garlic green beans and classic fries. Though our food took a bit longer to arrive, the taste made it worth the wait.

The fries were delightfully crispy, while the steak had just the right texture and was cooked perfectly to order. Aly was very satisfied with her meal, as it filled her up quickly.

When Alex inquired about dessert, we initially hesitated but were tempted by the churro s’mores. They were so irresistible that we polished off the plate, despite already feeling full. To cap off our evening, the wonderful host held the door open for us as he invited us to return. The entire experience was simply outstanding!

At the end of our conversation later that night, my son expressed his gratitude again, mentioning that they had one of the best nights in a long time. Applebee’s genuinely provided them with a “Best Date Ever” experience.
